Now here's a couple of KING-SIZE beauties. 'Keeper of the Flame' Martin Phippard, Biglorryblog's man at Volvo Truck & Bus Centre Wales & West---at the wonderfully-named Gurney Slade (didn't Tony Newley have a minor '60s hit called the 'Life and Times of Gurney Slade?' Brian, When I said that Steve King had "thoughtfully provided details of the size and weight of the loads plus the route taken" I assumed that you would include this detail for BLB readers too! DUU-OH!
Anyway for anyone interested the loads measured 19-feet, 7-inches wide and scaled in at 59-tonnes each. They were moved from Wickwar to Avonmouth Docks.
