If you go down to the woods today...you might just see this magnificent mauler. It's Mark Amer's (AKA Magpie) new K104B Cat-powered eight-legger complete with logging jinker on the back. Naturaly this picture and the folling NZ trucks comes from Biglorryblog's Kiwi mate Rod Simmonds who says:"Look at the mural on the side". Well I would Rod only the picture's not big enough. But here's a side shot of the Kenworth cab anyway...
Meanwhile, Rod has sent me another selection of pictures, most of them shot in Christchurch yesterday. What have you been doing in the big City then eh? You told me you were hard at it!

Nice 4+3 artic based on a Volvo FH...what happened to the fourth axle on the trailer did it fall off?

Now we're getting somewhare! One of Biglorryblog's favourites--the cabover Freightliner Argosy B-double---nice version run by Mainfreight.

Waggon and drag Mercedes Actros with what look like roll-on-off containers on the back.

Another venerable K104--this time a four-axle tractor with a curtainsider behind it.

Nice little Isuzu six-wheeler with a quad dog behind it. I reckon they could do well with this in the UK!

Well it's about time we had a Foden from you Rod. Old first series Alpha. Now click through here for a nice rear-end...

You were expecting more of Chloe perhaps....get focussed guys! Mainfreight has a nice line in 'themed' trailer rear-end murals including this one 'Mainfreight--gateway to the World'. Nice shots Rod.

Did you notice the number plate on that first Kenworth? MR PIE. Quite a fitting rego for a truck on BLB.
And sorry, but that Argosy isn't a B-Double, not if Rod was in Christchurch. It's a B-Train, Brian. "Oh no, he's not starting that again" I hear you say!
