Graeme at www.gbtruckpix.com has very kindly sent me this shot of a Steyr (following on the last blog posting) and says: "Hi Brian, I seen you piece on Big Lorry Blog today about the Steyr, very rare piece of kit, though I'd send you on this on that was ran by Angus Cochrane from Northern Ireland." Looking through Google yesterday I also found that China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co.Ltd on was still using the Steyr cab on a variety of trucks...and if you visit www.cnhtc.net you'll see the site above---well worth a visit..

Is the China "Steyr" a knock-off or built under licence?

cochranes had two steyrs ,the one in the pic was the best of the two ,i drove for them and drove the steyr a number of times ,it was awfull.
