Prestons of Potto delivers experimental chocolate bar

Unfortunately this photograph doesn't have a caption on the back, so I'm going to have to guess what's going on instead.

I reckon the year is 1986, and this Seddon Atkinson is about to deliver a new experimental XXXL bar of Toblerone to the duty free shop in Heathrow's new Terminal 4. But I could be wrong!

Chris Gardner:

Well, the badging on the Sed Ak would suggest that it dates from between 1977 and 1980 - there were both earlier and later badges and trims for the 400 Series, and it was superseded by the 401 in 1981.

The tri-axle trailer with sideguards would be post-May '83, though.

But are you sure it's not loose Rolos stacked on their side??
