Now THAT's what you call and Atkinson...no wonder Pete is a fan of the 'Big A.' And those cabs certainly do look similar don't they? Were they indeed the same underneath but with different styling tweaks?

The Delta cab was developed as a cheaper and simpler alternative to the double skinned RP cab. I dont think it was any less durable but only know of one (day cab) still in existence. The Delta company offered the idea to various truck manufacturers but only Foden took them up on it. Not sure who first came up with the idea of vents above the windscreen but I think it was before Reinforced Plastics. Any ideas on that ?
