Much like Touring Cars, although the race trucks may look like their road-going cousins, they are radically different machines; your average MAN or Mercedes-Benz can't beat a Porsche 911 to 100mph but these behemoths certainly can!
With a minimum weight limit of 5500kgs, a maximum speed limit of 100mph and tracks that are barely wide enough to place to of these vehicles side-by-side, the racing is tends to be extremely close and overtaking tough with a few bumps, scrapes and exchanges of paintwork a regular part of the action.
Whilst the internals are very different to 'normal' trucks, the standard cab isn't which means the driver is racing from a position more than a metre from the ground 'It's like driving a block of flats from the sixth floor' was the description one guest driver gave of his first Racetruck experience.
So, how can you win this pair of tickets? Well, as the weather's hot and you've only until 1700hrs tomorrow (Thursday 31st July) to get your entry in, we didn't think we should make it too hard. So to be in with a chance, just tell us which make of truck is the odd one out in the picture above - to make it even easier, it's not Bird's blue and white MAN!
