The gift of a clapped-out old LDV van

ConvoyOakdale.JPG

This knackered LDV Convoy was pictured in a North London residential street a few months ago - and at the time was still a road-going vehicle (despite the dodgy headlight alignment).

The LDV is one of a handful of similarly aged vehicles owned by the same company that are parked on the same street. I've got a feeling that they've been pissing off the local residents somewhat, and it would appear that some of them have been taking out their frustration on the vans. The last time I saw this LDV it had the following sign in its windscreen:  "Seeing as you enjoy smashing up my vehicles, I have decided to leave you this one as a present".

Ahh... The poor old 'sherpa' is a great english tradition, so i'm glad it gets the chance to frequent these pages, even after its death.

This baby is about as important as fish and chips, the Austin-Rover Princess (ohh yes!!!) and poorly fitted double glazing...

Breaking at a spares yard near you...
