Truck crash spotted on Google Earth

Gogleearth.jpgIf you have ever used Google Earth before you'll know how addictive it is. It's amazing what stuff you stumble upon while flying around the world.

For instance, check out this picture - which clearly shows an 18-wheeler on its side. According to the Google Sightseeing website, the truck belongs to Jim Palmer Trucking. It was apparently blown over by 100mph+ winds in Bismark, North Dakota.

Try looking for the infamous Area 51 in Nevada too. I was told that this secret military base was completely blacked out - but I just had a look and you can see everything - including the runways. In fact if you explore the area you can even make out the nuclear bomb creaters from the tests in the 1950s.

And while you are at it - have a look at nearby Rachel, Nevada. Is that the Colonel I can see painted in the desert!
