'The Ambassador's Party' rolled into Porthcawl, South Wales.

As well as being an incredibly cheesy advertisement, (which can be viewed below) it's also the name of this prize-winning Volvo FH12 Globetrotter carnival float.

According to Andrew Cooper, who together with Nicola and the three kids scooped first prize with this creation, truck-floats are disappearing fast. He says: "An unfortunate reflection of the times we now live in is the fact that Owens Road Services is one of the only hauliers willing to supply vehicles for carnivals. Most companies are afraid of the potential personal injuries claims and insurance related issues - as well as the fuel cost.
