Trevor Wood has just sent me this pictyure and says: "It was taken from the cliffs at Folkestone.  It's an old Bedford chassis with what looks like a beach hut fixed on the chassis." And whay not Trevor..have you seen the prices of FIXED beach huts lately? With this one you can take it anywhere---especially when global warming means that the sea level is going to rise....you'll never be caught on the hope and flooded out by a high-tide. And for a pie what's it based upon?

Looking at the design of the cab, it would appear that this vehicle started off as a 'green goddess'

Looks like an R series Bedford.

Alan Drake

Looking at the front end, doors etc,I think its based on a Bedford RL Green Goddess fire engine.
