Biglorryblog's man 'Man North 'o' the Border' has tipped me off to a proper treat. He tells me: "After some delays in the printing process, the above book has now been published. I've sent you off a review copy by post today. Please feel free to mention it in any one of your fine magazines! Frank Richardson has done a wonderful job in documenting Pollock's early years and this work captures the era perfectly. I hope you enjoy reading it. Cheers for now, John...."

So has that whetted your appetite? if so click through here to find out how to get your hands on your own copy!

Pollock The Early Years 1935 - 1972 by Frank Richardson costs £19.99 plus £2 postage and packaging and can be ordered from the author at frichardson@hotmail.co.uk or call 0131 669 3682 between 6pm-10pm.
