Honey I shrunk the tractive unit! And the driver. Biglorryblog has been contacted by one of Andy Boyle's 'merry men' at ABE. (I think that's Andy in the white shirt top left too). His name is Paul Sewell and he's e-mailed me to say: "Dear Brian, as a regular reader of your magazines and a driver for the past twenty one years.  I have worked for the last six years for a well known transport company ABE Ltd of Ledbury, Herefordshire.  Two years ago I decided to build my own 'little foden', by using a camera phone and a tape measure I tried my best to do like for like to a Foden in our yard. I have attached some pictures for you to have a look at and wonder if it is good enough for a feature in your magazine with two Fodens together, or with a fleet photo. Paul"

Well  I don't know about good enough for magazines but these pictures are perfect for Biglorryblog! And what a cracker of a Foden--right down to the mid-lift axle...

Hang on a minute! Model be blowed--this is a proper truck, with a proper driver inside it too. What's old Andy up to now.... is this all part of a master plan to 'downsize' using Paul's talents?

And with it's own trailer too...nice to know someone is keping the Kite Marque going. How about setting up a proper production line Paul..only on a slightly 'bigger' scale?
