How low (or high) can you go: Clutchslip reports from Hannover

How low can go? There's this Volkswagen Constellation, but it's a racer so doesn't really count.

IAAlow1.JPGFor really low on the road, you have to look at car transporters. This Renault has a traditional low roofline.

IAAlow2.JPGMAN's approach is more radical, and we thought it defined how low you could go ......

IAAlow3.JPG.... but then we spotted this Scania!

IAAlow4.JPGWhen it comes to height, your regular cab-top sleeper pod like this gets pretty tall ......

IAAlow5.JPG.... but this one gets the prize. Definitely picturesque, but access could be an issue, though, as could low bridges, power lines and cornering stability.

Don't forget that RT.com has lots more on the IAA show, including more blog posts direct from Hannover.
