Was that Scammell actually used in Oz, Cam, or was it imported recently, do you know?
We got those over here Vic, the Newport Glass Works in Melbourne has some 6 tonners and at least one has survived. One of our club members ( the HCVC in Victoria) has a 3 tonner with a little tray on it.
They were amazing vehicles; like nearly all Scammells they were a bit unusual but did the job they were designed to do perfectly
I think that one came from Tooheys brewery,I`d have to ask Mr Burze himself,Western Transport also had a few.
We've even got one down here in NZ at Bill Richardson's amazing Truck Museum.
