Plastic fantastic lovers pay attention! Biglorryblog has found a veritable treasure trove in Garforth!

Whilst visiting with those nice people of TCL Transport Engineers this morning----they're the artic and rigid tanker manufacturer and tanker rental company based in Garforth near Leeds---Biglorryblog is shown around the fabricating shop and premises whereupon what do I spy? But this collection of 'Plastic Fantastic' ERC ECs...and not just your common-or-garden EC11, but an EC14 with a Big Cam 'Hummin Cummins' to boot---it's the one on the left.

Being a nosey sort of BLB I enquire as to their history (and what they're doing there) and managing director Tim Gray explains that the EC14 is the old yard shunter and the others (the EC11) are ex-Total Fina/rental machines. I advise him that he could well find a buyer for one of them via a Biglorryblog reader. He seems a bit surprised but adds: "Well everything's got a price!" So if you are interested in restoring or even running an EC11 then Tim's number is 0788 444 0622 or e-mail him on info@tcl-tankers.com

As we stroll through the workshops I also notice another famous truck badge...So the story is out! "Scoop" Seddon Diesels are backin business---building workshop toolboxes...or perhaps not.

Nice to see an early Mk1 Foden Alpha still around too. TCL is a major contractor to Yorkshire Water having been a long time supplier----and recently it secured a major order for waste tanks for the company. And it also refurbishes old tanks too. Now click through here for more ERFs...

And here's another EC11 (same ex-Total Fina fleet machine). Small middle wheels, cab in good nick..as you'd expect. Worth buying or even exporting to Malta where Ashley Lovering can phtograph it? Contact Tim. In the meantime why not also check out TCL's website on www.tcl-tankers.com
