The unit around the front wheel is a special wheel clamp as a normal clamp would not fit on a three wheeler. I believe that there was a similar Mazda which was rather larger
I suggest the stirrup is for hand-towing the truck, or reverse parking by hand, with the aid of an extension pole.
Maybe this would be a contender for Pete Lynch's "World's Smallest Ute" competition.
And the car of course is an MG B; I didn't need the second photo to get that, either!
Tape measure may be needed here Vic, the tray is much bigger than the Mighty Boy but overall it may be smaller.

I reckon the three way tipping version just includes a pack of Shredded Wheat for the driver who then only need grab it by either side or front and lift.
