The man with the best toy set in the world has sent Biglorryblog these pictures. Of course I'm talking about my mate in South Africa Dennis Child who is general manager of ROTRAN, the undisputed heavy haulage experts. Anyway this shows the classic 'old and new' with, first of all, Dennis's magnificent Tractomas 10x10's in action with a 225-ton transformer and his enormous beam trailer.

Now we have his beautifully maitained and restored 'Ultra' Pacifics---there's two of them linked together above, pulling a massive multi-axle trailer and another Tractomas peeping out from behind. Now click through here for more...

Next we have what Dennis calls: "TRANSCOR IN ACTION!" i.e. this rather smart 6x4 FH13 with a crane on the back. But what really interests me is the roadtrain behind it---look at those bulker trailers on the left. What was up the front Dennis?

Geesh Brian! The "roadtrain bulker" you refer to is a regular South African interlink (aka B-train, aka B-double). It was probably headed up be a Merc because a lot of the bulk operators used to operate the old SK and have since moved on to the Actros.
