Airbus A300 on the move...by road of course.

Thanks to my aeronautical blogging co-eval Michael Targett, online editor at www.flightglobal.com, Biglorryblog gathers that the forward section of an A300 Airbus has been delivered to Paris city centre where it will form part of an Airbus exhibit to celebrate the centenary of France's aeronautical industry. Makes sense, and what better way to deliver it than behind a French MAN TGA prime mover...

The exhibition is taking place between 4 and 12 October 2008 on the Champs-Elysées and the Place de la Concorde. As well as the A300 forward fuselage, the Airbus exhibit includes an A320 wing, an A340 fin and the nose cone and engine air intake from an A380.
