Cora Lyn Truck Show down-under. AtkiPete sets up a Biglorryblog brain-teaser...

bedford and caravan.jpg

AtkiPete Lynch has sent me this selection of shots and says: "G'day Brian, who is Cora Lynn, you might be asking yourself? Well she is actually a little town that hosted a show at the weekend which included some rather nice vintage trucks. About half way between Nar Nar goon and Koo wee Rup, to be precise."

Pete continues: "Anyway have a look at some of this lot. Cheers Pete. " I'll do better than have a look Pete--I'll put them on Biglorryblog! Not least as it's a good chance to have another Biglorryblog 'For-a-Pie' quiz...so starting with the little red truck at the top..what are they? And we've talking about this one only recently on BLB too....

Vic Hungerford:

First one is a K or M model Bedford, this time with the English cab instead of the Australian Holden one.

Commer, maybe with the TS3 motor, but I'm not sure. It looks a bit like the Rootes Diesel badge below the lefthand mirror.

Morris Comical

GMC

This is one of those "I should know this but I don't" models

Mercedes-Benz 1418

Michael Yamnitz:

The red oldtimer is an International, 1930's. Don't know the exact year.

Peter Lynch:

As far as I know the red Inter is a 1926 model. It is beautifully restored and the owner took it on a 2000km trip to Alice Springs in 2006. They were in a rush to get back so the old girl was loaded aboard a more modern KB6 Inter.
