According to Steve: "It's a HB2002 model, powered by a Waukesha six cylinder petrol engine with a five-speed main and three-speed auxiliary transmission. The truck was rated for a maximum gross weight of 40,000 lb, or 17.8 tonnes in metric-speak." Mmm but who was the manufacturer? What a magnificent looking bit of machinery! I've never actually seen one of the original Sterlings in real life, although I've seen plenty of photos.

Cam McFadyen
