'It's another double for Wakefield-Dick', according to this 1950s Motor Transport advertisement. Not only have Phipps Ales been using Wakefield-Dick Lubricants for 20 years, but they've just installed a Wakefield Hose Reel too.
"So that's another transport manager with 'lubrequipment' at his fingertips".
In case you were wondering, Phipps has long gone. The brewery was knocked down in the mod 1970s to make way for a new Carlsberg plant. For more information on the brewery you can check out this website.
