While most lazy bloggers were still abed in the UK, Clutchslip, in Japan on a secret mission, was scouring the streets of Tokyo for interesting trucks.

The 90-minute motorway journey from Narita airport to central Tokyo revealled the following taly of foreign trucks - Mercedes 4, Volvo 3, Scania 1. This chrome laden FH was spotted later in the city centre

Read on for more scenes of trucking Tokyo-style.
It's not just the big highway trucks that are pestering the local accessory shops - even the tippers are at it!

(and who spotted the Alfa Romeo Giulia in the background?)
A fairly common Japanese speciality is this type of rather long 8-legger running on 19.5" wheels.

And no report from Tokyo would be complete without jim Bowen's favourite, the Fuso Super Great, this example loading at Tokyo's fish market.

Also at the fish market, is this the first truck who's tail-lift weights more than the rest of it?

And finally, this one has what it takes to drive in Tokyo!
