GMC Jimmy on video - or "BigLorryBlog - lust for glory"

The bumper Christmas issue of Commercial Motor has hit the newsagents, and with it Brian Weatherley's peerless impression of General George S Patton:

The Christmas road test is of a splendid GMC 'Jimmy' 6x6, and by way of background here's a video of 'Deuce-and-a-half' (2.5-ton payload) Jimmys in action on the 'Red Ball Express' after D-Day:

There's plenty more in this issue of CM too, including a 1,000-point test of fleet tractors from MAN, Mercedes, DAF and Scania, as well as a duel between Land Rovers from 1949 and 2008, and a comprehensive guide to buying a tail-lift. Check out more WWII military vehicles on BLB here.
