How to keep clean while you're driving a truck in the summer....'The Boss' has the answer and shares it with Biglorryblog (who's taken ages to post this up...)

Just to show that old curmudgeon 'The Boss' that I DO use his stuff (albeit a bit late) if you've ever wondered how you can have a decent shower when you're out on the road and no-where near a decent truckstop then here's a good idea....'The Boss' sent me this back in August and told me: "Sitting round in the South of France with LBH (Little Big Horn) and Erika just having a yarn late at night when the subject turned to cleanliness or rather washing..."

"Not a problem for LBH and Erika, a German driving duo who normally run between Germany and Spain since they have attached to the back of their DAF a water tank with a small pump which gives them an on-the-road showering facility that's absolutely marvellous. The water is heated by the sun or the heat from a running fridge and since when the photo was taken it was almost midnight the water was still warm. Must get the Squire to invest in a shower for his rig and maybe all the long travelling East Europeans. Excellent bit of kit. The Boss." Well better late than never and given this weather is a tad cooler perhaps a quick slap round the face with a flannel is more appropriate...? Or why not leave simply the windows and top hatach open the next time you go through the truck wash..that should do it...!
