Many happy memories about seeing the first one - a Ford Thames van. I think it was the second Ford van my Dad had in the early 1960s and while ours was a 15cwt version, I think they also did a 10/12 cwt version. Don't ask me the difference. Three speed gearbox with column change, as a kid I'd sit on the engine hump between my Mam & Dad and let my younger sister roll around in the back of the van somewhere. Happy days. Developed the art of clutch control with this van while still under age.

Thames 800 (That was the NZ name, I know you Poms called it something else).
