A Trojan, surely?

Second one in two days and I hadnt previously seen one in years - Ital designed/face-lifted Morris Marina van. This one with integral factory steel "hard top" and matt black-backed, pull-out door catches. I think the earlier Marinas had push button chrome door handles aka the Maxi and Austin 1100's, no doubt all from the same BL parts bin. The last vehicle just pre-dates me.....

Again following up JB's posting, this was the standard Marina door handle for the whole production run, except for late model Itals which had a horizontally opening version. the interior handle was a very delicate plastic version of the same item which snapped very easily and was shared with various other BLMC cars. In case that I am thought to be a 'Marina Anorak' I learned to drive in one of the 'dear' things, complete with wayward streering (another story), and I still have the scar from getting one finger caught in the outside door handle.
