The Boss likes his oysters... As long as there's a 'R' in the month....tales from the road on Biglorryblog.

The Boss, that loveable old curmudgeon and Maggie-loving Continental owner driver has sent me his regular dispatch from the road (and rude remarks directed towards yours truly saying: "Brian, what a week! The boss of Renault rang up,'would I like to buy a Formula 1 team?' All I asked was if I could make the cars right hand drive and he hung up. Face, Bothered, me... Anyway would you bling a Stralis?, this Italian certainly did!"

He goes on to say: "And to all our blogging buddies down under in Australia seems the French also have Kangaroos----hence the Maggie Roo bar..Shall try and get a pic of one." What fior? this one is perfectly god enough...in fact quite a nice night-time shot-BLB. Anyway click through here to see how some drivers have no trouble getting a good bit of scoff...

Having been turned down by Renault the Boss says: "I just carried on devouring the food of the Gods---oysters---obtained from a van which has been for years in a picnic area just west of Montpellier in the South of France on the edge of the Med, least when there is an R in the month."

Just a bit salty this time of year but with a dribble of fresh lemon and a sprinkling of pepper, magic. Great life out on the road. The Boss."

Beats the average transport cafe I suppose... How the other-half live eh?

That French roo bar looks a bit on the light side. Better wait till the Boss manages to photograph a French kangaroo for comparison.

Vic Hungerford

It looks a bit close to the front of the cab too, Pete. It's probably a bull bar for the trips to Spain!
