Following Biglorryblog's recent posting on strip mining in Australia and Scheuerle shifters to move the diggers about Dennis Child (a man who knows a thing or two about molving big things from A to B) has sent me these pictures which show nicely how the modular lifting platforms work---although if I understand things correctly this one is Lampson Goldhofer front end...anyroad up. The pictures are not from Dennis but from someone else (unknown). So if you took them drop me a line and I'll gladly credit you.
