Now I know what you're thinking. This is Biglorryblog--not BiglorryDOG. But I couldn't resist this story on how a new Mercedes-Benz Vito van has brought a warm glow to a winter sports enthusiast more used to dog power than horse power...Northamptionshire-based Chris Mindham, a seasoned member of the British Siberian Husky Racing Association, has chosen a Vito van as the perfect way to transport him, his dogs and his sled to weekend rallies across the country throughout the winter....now click through here for more dog sled news!
The Medium-length, high-roofed 115CDI is fitted with double-deck caging for up to eight dogs and a fold-down 'jump board', giving them easy access to the upper floor. A removable rear seat provides the option of carrying an additional passenger or creating extra storage space, while luggage and equipment can be carried beneath a specially-created false floor. "The Vito is a fantastic dual purpose vehicle that's equally at home ferrying the dogs or being used as everyday transport," affirms Chris who is a winner of silver and bronze medals in the association's national championships. In fact it all rather reminds me of that popular song: "How much is that doggie in the Vito?"
