Last one for today...and the reason why I've blogged this is simply because it's such an immaculate old-style F12 Globetrotter--although story is actually all about "Exhibition and machinery transport company L A Logistics of Leicester believes the Krone load securing system is the best available on the market and an absolute must for the highly individual loads that the company moves around the UK and Europe." At least that's what the PR blurb says.

But what an absolute corker of a truck. And does anyone know this outfit which is run by Adrian Gray? Indeed my question to Graham B and Andrew C is : Is this a 'Steel Boy' by any chance?

Goes by the name of Lord Dunfunkington--at least that's what I make it out as...

And pretty good for a J-reg as far as I can make out...now click through here for the rest of the story and why Adrian chose a Krone trailer...

Meanwhile, the press release goes on: "Adrian Gray, the company's owner and one of the main drivers, bought his first Krone Profi Liner earlier this year and is delighted with the unique 'Multi Lock Multi Block' securing system. Multi Lock is standard on every chassis frame of a Krone curtainsider, but Multi Block is an optional load securing feature. The German manufacturer was the first in the European market to establish load securing points in the side raves (Multi Lock) as standard equipment it its production range. Across to the direction of travel, the award winning Multi Block system is mounted in the Multi Lock load securing points. This results in a flexible loading beam for securing the goods to be transported.

"Because of the specialist nature of the loads we transport we needed an extremely versatile way of securing them" comments Adrian. "The Krone system works extremely well and ensures we conform with all European legislation on goods in transit".

Adrian has now invested in a second trailer to expand his fleet and had no hesitation about returning to Krone. "The service and support we have received from Jason Chipchase is simply brilliant" he adds "the company just couldn't do enough for us and we are extremely happy with the performance of the trailer". "Our new stepframed trailer will be with us in December.  This trailer was ordered after a meeting with ourselves, our customer and Jason and Krone have been able to supply the new trailer to the exact specifications required by our customer".

So one very happy customer I'd say...and the perfect trailer to follow the perfect truck!
