Yes he's back! Biglorryblog's favourite old curmudgeon and long-distance owner driver---'The Boss'---is returned from playing at the Obama inauguration...or maybe that was the other 'Boss''? Anyway my one tells me a tale about the cheap price of diesel 'sur le Continent' and in particular at AS24 and Esso Express unmanned fueling stations in France (and yes I KNOW this is the Cavaillon truck wash and Shell fuel station). Anyroadup The Boss says the aforementioned companies are "both offering derv at supermarket prices and on occasions less, Esso Express this week sold derv at 94euro cents per litre, minus 2.5cents essential user rebate, minus 19.6% TVA,French for VAT. Get your calculator out, fire in the rate of exchange and you will see how cheap it has become, and for a pie let me know will you?" And let me know too won't you says BLB. Meanwhile the loverable old fellow offers me this parting shot regarding the above Scania: "Does anyone share my opinion, what an awful colour for a rig...?" Lawd luv him--he could start a fight in an empty house!
'The Boss' at the Presidential inauguration! Well at the Cavaillon truckstop and wash anyway. Biglorryblog welcomes back the old curmudgeon...

Sorry BOSS but I have always thought yellow a great colour for a tractor unit. Maybe he has gone a bit OTT with the trailer though!
