It's a while since I did anything on renault and as I was browsing through their website looking for details on the OptiFuel concept artic (which I blogged on a short while ago) I was reminded of the wonderful radical Renault Radiance futuristic design study---although frankly I reckon this could jjst as easily be the new Premium in 10 years time! It certainly looks believable--unlike many other artist's studies...

I can see this on the M6 in 10 or 15 year's time...can;t you? (THough obviously driving on the other side of the road!) Dimensionally it looks just about right to me...

Nice uncluttered back and smoothly fared-in side valances....

Not so sure about the interior but I suspect people said that about the original Citroen DS21!!!!

Now click through here for some more shots of the Radiance...

To drive it you'd need to insert your own driver identification card...unlerss this is where you put your digitach card!

And where you connect the susies I'm not quite sure..but they must go in those chrome holes!

So what do Biglorryblog readers think. is the Radiance a hit or miss? And for a pie what was the name of the 60s pop show that came from?

Juke box jury was the pop show, Oi'll give it foive was another catchphrase from it by some Brummy lass
I'm sure the futuristic Renault was featured on Tomorrow's World as well as in the truck press in the eighties
