And to get things going Rikki Chequer, Biglorryblog's good mate and Community Manager at TruckNetUK has provided me with this link below to an interesting forum on the site which shows a mystery motor--it's the white one in the background in this picture.

The white truck at the back is a Mk II Atkinson, a model which did not come to NZ with that cab fitted. As the Mk I Preston cabs all fell to pieces out here no one was brave enough to try the Mk II model, so the later ones came with the Australian RP cab as standard.
