Last one from me for today...Road Rat is back from Canada where he recently gained his Canadian Truck Driver's Licence. Now he's back in the UK for a short while before finally taking the plunge and heading back to work for a Canadian trucking company --- and Biglorryblog wishes him the best. Until then he's back doing his shift as a Steady Eddie and he's sent me this shot and message: "Hi Brian, I think I've found the most unusual mode of transport that Stobarts have moved into. I know that there is a credit crunch on, and Stobarts are finding ways to save fuel etc, but I don't think horses is the answer. OK, you get free garden manure for the roses, as much as you can shovel, but even the 420 horses in my Swedish shed offer more that genuine raw horse power!.
And no before anyone asks I DON'T HAVE A NAMES LIST !!!! how many more times do we have to keep telling people. Regards, Road Rat." And you can see his website at www.road-rat.com.
Meanwhile for all of those people who DO want a list of Eddie names click through here....but here's two to be going on with....
However, for all those people who keep asking me for the complete names of the fleet all you have to do is visit the Stobart Fan Club website at
http://www.clubstobart.co.uk
And for a suitable joining fee you will get your own set of goodies including a handbook with the complete Eddie Stobart fleet list. There now...easy when you know how.
