Standby for blast off part deux! Anything the Yanks can do...says 'The Boss' who's obviously see the recent post of hoiw to unload a Canadian B-train. Indeed he adds: "Tescos got fed up of complaints about delays in unloading so devised this tipping solution years ago, worked wonders for schedules!" And now click through here for a classic 3-Series Scania.

"And this Centurion is still trundling around earning a crust,Scania don't make em like they used to! 'The Boss'" Quite right too. All the long-serving Scania drivers Biglorrryblog has spoekn to reckons this WAS the best.

Cool picture, but I have a question.
The fridge unit, the seagulls and the proximity to a boat suggests this trailer is carrying fish. My question is: Why is it tilted for emptying? Is it because the fish are loaded in bulk into the trailer?
Irish Mariner
Bulk yes,but it is actually loaded with British pig skins and other pig parts which was at this factory in Gent Belgium turned into gelatine.
Dumped on the floor by conveyor, tipped out by tilting and washed out with a rather powerful hose.
Good job this one, least the seagulls were appreciative.
The Boss
Any chance 'the Boss' could email me a copy of that pic of J981 BYA? My dad runs the truck now and it'd be good to add another photo to the collection. [still have the one you sent me of it next to your Jag, Peter]
