Scania's legendary V8 engine is 40 years old - which is cause for celebration. So to help commemorate this special event, Truck and Driver has teamed up with Scania (Great Britain) Limited to bring you an amazing competition.
Not only will every person who sends in a photograph of their Scania V8 win a limited-edition 40th anniversary Scania V8 key-ring, but the best six trucks (as judged by T&D) will be given pride of place on Scania's stand at Peterborough Truckfest (May 3-4).
These lucky winners will each be given £250 towards their expenses, receive some exclusive Scania clothing and appear on the pages of T&D.
The truck deemed to be the overall winner will be professionally photographed by T&D's star photographer Tom Cunningham. Not only will it feature on the front cover of a future issue of the magazine, but all 28,000 T&D readers will receive a poster of this truck. What's more, the person who has entered the winning truck will also win an Apple iPhone.

The T&D/Scania competition is open to anyone who owns or drives a Scania V8.
Scania will pay the six winners £250 towards out-of-pocket expenses, including the cost of fuel and accommodation.
No purchase is necessary.
The trucks will be judged by a panel made up of representatives from T&D and Scania.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
No cash alternative or alternative prize is available for this competition.
The truck must be available on May 2 as well as May 3-4 in order to prepare for Truckfest.
No sleeping in the trucks is allowed on the Scania stand.
Neither T&D nor Scania can be held responsible for the loss, damage or non-arrival of competition entries.
The closing date for the competition is Thursday, April 2, 2009.
Winners will be expected to participate in
post-competition publicity.
The T&D/Scania competition is not open to employees or representatives of Reed Business Information, Scania or any other companies involved in the competition.
