If you're one of those truck-driving blokes, or 'blokesses', who finds themselves trundling up the M6 on a regular basis then no doubt you'll be interested to lean that J.38 Truck Stop, just off the M6 in the village of Tebay, Cumbria has launched a brand new Truck Drivers Club which entitles members to special discounts and incentives when visiting the service area. The first incentive - a free hot drink with every 5, 8 or 10 item breakfast can be redeemed from the moment drivers join and every visit thereafter.
And for those that like a bit of exclusivity Biglorryblog understands that the club is only open to HGV licence holders and has been introduced as a way a rewarding regular drivers and to encourage new drivers to call in and see what they're missing. According to Beverley Tunstall "It's easy and free to join - application forms are available at each till point and membership cards are issued on the spot, so drivers can start saving straight away." In the following months members of J.38's Truck Drivers Club will be the first to hear about new promotions via regular text alerts, these will include a 'recommend a friend scheme, discounts on clothing and truck accessories "and half price refills for our brand new travel flasks." Moreover, operations manager, Sandra Counter says: "Within the first few days of promoting the club we've had a great response from drivers and many regulars have already joined. As we introduce more offers we hope the club will go from strength-to-strength."
