While both are finished in eye-catching metallic silver one is a conventional long-bodied van, while the other is a long-bodied 'Dualiner', which boasts a second row of seats. The new Vito Sports are now being used to transport its market-leading products to dealers and promotional events across the country. Both are fitted with towbars and pull trailers that carry up to 20 kayaks and open canoes. The company also puts racks on the optional roof rails to transport a further six boats. And with seating for up to six people, the Dualiner also doubles as luxury transport for VIP visitors to the firm's high-tech production plant in Uckfield.
"We've been running Mercedes-Benz vans since 2000 and have found them to be fantastically reliable," says Andre, who adds "Not only is the Vito better looking than its rivals, it's also more comfortable and car-like to drive. We chose the Sport model because it's such an eye-catching package. It has a very classy look and grabs people's attention. Our kayaks are stylish and feature-rich, so it makes sense for our vans to share that ideal. There is the added benefit that they mesh perfectly with the cool lifestyle that goes with paddling."
