My post of the weekend on DUCKs... Errr... DUKWs has certainly generated alot of feedback. I've also had this great shot of a UK Duck from Bigloryblog regular Alan Drake (a man with a suitably nautical surname) "Hi Brian," he says, "This is Albert Dock Liverpool Regards, Alan."

All the more reason to visit Liverpool I'd say... And is it still European City of Culture... Or was that last year?

The DUKW was based on a 2.5 ton 6x6 GMC truck and for a vehicle knocked up in wartime, seems to have survived remarkably well.
