And it's goodnight from him... You know I could get used to blogging in a Strator... Look how much room there is when the bottom bunk is converted into a set of table and chairs... That's what the laptop is resting on as you read this. And what have I been doing with Iveco's bonneted beauty? Click through here to find out!
Yes Nick Santon (that's him in the picture) and I have been doing an exclusive Truck & Driver cab kit test and that's why tonight I'm also sleeping in the Strator while Nick is next door in the Stralis. Tomorrow I'll be driving the Strator too so stay tuned to Biglorryblog!

The Strator is the UK equivalent to Iveco Australia's PowerStar!
No Joe, it is the Dutch equivalent!
Hello... this is an unusual request. We have a 25 year old Metroline pink double decker bus which we have converted into an art installation and we are using it as a venue for comedians at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August. The bus has been sitting in a yard in Reading for a couple of years and whilst the engine (Gardner) is still working nicely, there is a problem with the transmission. We have a bus mechanic who has the sisters of our bus still running and is confident he will get it working but we are a little concerned that it won't make the 800 mile round trip to Edinburgh without some problems. We are trying to set up a relay of recovery vehicles along our journey to be on standby in case the bus breaks down and needs to be towed instead. We wondered if you could help at all or know someone who could? My email address is v_brook@hotmail.co.uk. We have just done a radio appeal on BBC Radio Berkshire and you can view photos of the bus through this link.

Many Thanks, Victoria and Caroline.
Spark,
Thanks for correcting me - I never looked at the number plates!
Joe
It's about time you slept in the truck. No wait, it must be warm enough !!! You want to try and sleep in 107f, I was in Las Vegas, damm that was hot !!!
The Aussies have that sorted now Ratty, evaporative airconditioners for the sleeper box. They run off a separate battery which avoids the need to leave the motor running.
