Now this IS spooky! Only an hour ago Biglorrylog was sitting chatting to Nick Santon of Iveco about the Italian truck maker's Astra specialist vehicle division and Nick mentioned SIVI, the heavy haulage specialist tractor brand within the Iveco stable. Me...? I'd never heard of it. Anyroadup no sooner do I climb into my Strator for the night (and some late blogging) than what should I get but these photos from Martin Phippard...
"Hi Brian, you MAY have posted these before, I just can't remember. The images are all from the specialist IVECO/SIVI/ASTRA site. In any case I thought the first 6x6 SIVI looked to be hauling a brutal trailer and load a la ROTRAN, so was worth a look." Funnily enough I said to Nick 'If you've got any SIVI pictures do let me have them!' Looks like Martin beat him to it. Martin goes on to say about this shot "And I just liked the background in the ASTRA 8x8 tipper pictures! It's hard to imagine you ever being short of material for BLB, but just in case...
