Colin Peck has kindly sent Biglorryblog the latest update on his magnum opus on DAF Trucks (he's writing a book on the Dutch manufacturer). And he says: "Work is still progressing well - I'm about half-way through collecting and writing up material now. However, I'm still looking for stories, anecdotes and tales from DAF dealers, operators and drivers just like the great image at the top of my latest newsletter received from Roy Mead of www.articulationpix.com.

Colin continues: "I've received a lot of nice recovery vehicles shots recently, but still looking for good quotes from operators as to why they use DAF equipment... Come on now, speak up!" Well I should talk to J.R. Smith and Son Colin... They showed this immaculate 'London 2012 Olympics' themed XF105 at Truckfest last month and I believe are a long-time user of the Dutch marque... Now click through here for more...

"In fact" says Colin, "quotes from any operator of DAF trucks, past and present would be welcome." And you can send them to Colin at colinjpeck@aol.com.
