OK all you Biglorryblog bridge-spotters! Last one for tonight and it's a pie quiz question... Where's this bridge? And the truck on it should be a dead giveaway... And if Andrew Cooper isn't the first one with the answer I'll go to the foot of our stairs...

Hi everyone,
Seeing an Owens motor in the picture, my money
would be with Neil. Its been many years since I was in Blackwood, but I believe this bridge would be built north of town crossing over the Tredegar valley to Oakdale. This would reduce traffic on Blackwood high street, and the Pontlanfrith roundabout.
When I visit from the States I can not believe how narrow those roads were, and how we used to pilot those 8 legger Deutz's through them carrying black gold down to Newport docks.
Its such a shame they built new roads after the industries have closed.
Paul
