Biglorryblog is delighted to showcase a superb piece of truck restoration from Poland--and with an unusual Volvo Eurotrotter too! But first the 'before' picture above..."Hello!"
says Andrzej Lazar "In Polish, the first letter is like one GPB,but I don't have it in my keyboard", he says. Anyway he continues: "I'm big classic truck fan (Volvo F series,Berliet R range, Ford Transconti)."
And here's the after to which Andrzej adds: " Between 1992-2003 I used to read TRUCK magazine. I'm e-mailing you as I see you like classic trucks too. Therefore I'm sending you a couple photos of my truck, which I had between 2004-2007. I was only person in Poland with a 'young-timer' truck ,which was used only for weekends and car or truck shows (see the silver fifth wheel)! Now click through here for more...

Now Andrzej drops a bit of a bombshell. "I worked in shop (with no connection with transport) , but I was always dreaming about a Volvo F series so what did I do? In 2004 I bought one rare tractor: a 1988, Volvo F10-320 Eurotrotter."

"I did a complete makeover on it for years. Sadly I don't have any more money for that hobby and I must sell truck . (23,5 l/100 km for all 3 years period!)."

"The cab was like new with totally restored-inside." And I think we can see what a fabulous job Andrzej did.
"For two years now the truck ( which is 21 years old and has 2,000,000 km) has been working in Gdynia with trailer."

I doubt whether I'll see an old Man TGA , Actros or FH in such good conditions after 20 years" says Andrzej. And I reckon he's got a point there!
And what a superb restoration too.
from either end...

And here's the sleeping compartment too.

What a great bit of kit to take on and restore and what a fantastic result!! As far as I remember the Eurotrotter cab wasn't around for long and I think that an even shorter cab was produced for drawbar combinations to get around length/cube regs; of the time.
Again what a great restoration it looks brilliant would like to see it the flesh, so to speak!!!

yes Dave, there was an even shorter version, but I believe that Volvo themselves built only 12, of which 8 were delivered to W. H. Bowker Limited.
