"Home Sweet Home" reads the caption to this series of pictures kindly sent to Biglorryblog by Dennis Child, general manager at ROTRAN Multi-Axle - those specialist heavy haulage funsters in South Africa. And from the shots and the caption supplied I am assuming Dennis has a new toy to add to his already impressive box! Fabulous Western Star 8x6!

Certainly looks the business but then Dennis never does things by half measure. Now click through here for more...

Wonder what's under the hood... Can you comment or e-mail with a few more details Dennis? You've got BLB all curious!

Can't you just get that 'new truck' smell?

Auto box too... Big Allison perhaps?

Not sure whether this is the extra cooling or air and hydraulics pack...

Now that's what I call an IMPRESSIVE line-up! thanks again Dennis!

I know this question has come up before Dennis and Brian, but I can`t recall the answer. Why are the bumpers hanging off a bit of chassis 2 foot in front of the radiator.Surely you don`t want a counterwieght over the front axle? Please forgive my ignorance.
