And naturally this is a Biglorryblog world exclusive. The folks at Sodertalje have invented a top-weight tractor that runs on pure air! Don't believe me? This is its fuel tank. Obviously as soon as Scania's minders saw me taking these SCOOP pictures they tried to stop me but I'm not going to be put off by excessive entertaining, low alcohol beer and salmon steaks!

The device is pressed down between the tires to transfer power from the powered axle to the normally unpowered axle.
Brian, have you got any more info on this ai-powered Scania. Does it just use a simple air compressor to turn the wheels.
The devide is called Robson drive. It can be lowered between the two axles and thus connecting the drive axle and unpowered axle together. Just as Kristoffer said. It's a cheaper substitute of real all-wheel drive used on mainly logging trucks.
