Could this be the future of truck recycling? Well Biglorryblog is certainly impressed and it's thanks to Gary 'two hats' Richards in Oz for passing this little gem on to me. This may look like an ordinary ERF to you but believe me its rather different. It's the result of a lot of hard work from the Candian-based Mammoth trucks who, judging by their rather splendid website, at http://www.mammothtrucks.com/euroamerican have a neat business converting North American based left-hand drive bonneted trucks into, amongst other things, right-hand-drive cabovers for export markets like Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It's very much a customer-driven business - whatever you want they're up to produce. That site explains it all and has some nice pictures too! Here's another one... And I reckon this is the most imaginative conept I've come across for a long time and all power to Mammoth! Click on this webpage and there's even an animation to show how they convert a bonnted tractor into a cabover.

Their website could be better. It has two pictures of FAW (China's First Automotive Group) trucks of which I believe have never been sold in Canada where this company is based. One is an old version of the J5P and the second is a J6H concept truck. The production J6P is a modern and impressive truck, but that ugly J6H prototype.........
