Hello... What's this then? A personalised number plate for a rather special truck. But what's that got to do with Biglorryblog? Well click through here and you'll find out won't you...?

Yes, it's the 700hp FH16 (as if you didn't know) and I'm currently roadtesting it for Commercial Motor (well somebody has got to do it). Here it is parked up at Burton services on the M6 at the start of my 45 minutes... Just before the rain came down! Anyway let's hope it all blows through by tomorrrow when we start the second day. BTW the white trailer in the background is a foreigner who (I believe) has just been done by VOSA who were obviously looking for the more 'livelier' members of our Continental cousins omn the M6 today... Indeed I had a quick conversation with one of the VOSA chappies - all very nice and chatty. Before he then moved on which stopped me feeling quite so nervous (natural guilty conscience!)

And here's a photo of my 'official off-sider', yes it's Volvo's very own Rod 'Birthday Boy' Collett who celebrated his umptyfirst birthday on Sunday. I bought him a card featuring a picture of Tommy Cooper saying: "I'm on the whisky diet... I've lost three days already." Well I thought it was amusing anyway...
