Fancy a bit of free publicity says BLB? As long as you can transport a 10-tonne ice bear sculpture to Copenhagen for free in return! The Ice Bear Project needs a lift and asks Biglorrryblog: "We are looking for a transport operator to help us haul an ice sculpture of a polar bear from the UK to Copenhagen for the United Nations Climate Change Conference this December. Given the organisations and individuals involved in this project, the transport operator will receive considerable publicity in return.  Please note the vehicle does not have to be refrigerated! Now click through here for more....and who to contact...

Teamed with WWF, The Ice Bear Project is a UK-based non-profit arts organisation, whose

goal is to create sculptures that engage wide audiences with the Arctic environment. TRhey tell me: "We now have our first date; at the United Nations Climate Conference in Copenhagen, this December. Originator of The Ice Bear Project, renowned wildlife artist Mark Coreth has created a life-sized bronze sculpture of an adult polar bear, in hunting pose. This is to be positioned in a purpose built freezing/transportation tank, filled with water and set in a cold-store facility at -25degrees. When frozen the tank and its contents need to travel to Copenhagen, to arrive on December the 5th, so that the Ice bear can become the centrepiece of WWF's Arctic exhibition on Nytorv Square."

They go on to say: "The ice sculpture is then offered to the public to touch and over the duration of the Climate Conference, aided by the heat from human contact, the ice will melt, leaving a bronze skeleton, a pool of water and a deeply symbolic message about the power humanity has to shape our delicate environment. WWF and the Ice Bear Project are combining to ensure significant opportunities for press and media coverage of the Ice Bears journey. The company which agrees to take on the transportation of the Ice Bear, will receive benefits as a sponsor. "

Amd for anyone intrested with a free truck to spare here's some useful general Information
