I know that G88, in fact I have actually driven it. Quite a few years ago when the Mack R-model I was driving at the time broke down, we borrowed that G88 to replace it for a couple of days. Apart from the fact that the 2-speed splitter didn't work, it did the job OK.
You dont have to worry now Vic, I have just been reading T+D Sept 09 issue and apparently Rod Simmonds has immigrated to Melbourne! ( page 17) You might be able to get a park in a lay by at long last.
